When it comes to evolve™, we will make no compromises in design or delivery..ever!

Right from day one, we realised that to become the best Software as a Service provider in the recruitment sector, we needed to deliver our system more competitively and with and with many times the levels of reliability, functionality and efficiency than a user could do themselves (and with most of our competitors doing little more than throwing a single server in a rack in some cheap Datacentre, we just knew that we could do better than them too!).

So what do we do differently?

For a start, evolve™ runs on a multi-tier clustered redundant architecture across around 80 servers with no single cluster group offering anything less than N+1 redundancy. This platform runs the entire evolve™ system for all clients. This system is unique and delivers the highest levels of processing power, reliability and speed of any SaaS provider in our industry.

When it comes to backup, every subsystem (including storage arrays, internal power supplies and power feeds) is a minimum dual-redundant. In most cases, N+1 is found right down to individual component level. This includes all internal network paths. You can’t even buy this level of redundancy off the shelf. If you want it, you’ve got to build it.

FCP is an ISP (RIPE member) in its own right and multi-homed between two Datacentre locations to perform our own network routing independent of any single supplier. 

FCP is the only provider in the whole industry to have this status and infrastructure, we don’t need to rely on third party suppliers - which is how we can guarantee our clients such exceptional levels of service reliability.

Put simply, our no compromise approach means we go the extra mile (or three) when it comes to ensuring the delivery of a quality service.

FCP Infrastructure

As well as our primary datacentre in Slough, we have a secondary presence in Heathrow with a high speed redundant fibre connection point-to-point between the two sites.

Our secondary location is entirely independent in terms of network access and hosts secondary and tertiary mail and DNS services, as well as providing a warm-standby location should our primary location become inoperable. This secondary location is capable of supporting our entire existing client base.

All evolve™ systems and the FCP network itself are monitored in real-time from two independent locations. Over 400 individual system components are individually monitored, logged and graphed so that our technical operations staff is constantly aware of system status.
