While other SaaS providers will tell you they offer high service level guarantees, if their system isn't multi-tenant, then beware..they probably can't meet their SLA! (you might want to insist that they provide you with a diagram showing exactly how their system architecture is structured and delivered).
One of the unique aspects of the evolve™ is that it was designed from the ground up around a bespoke multi-tenant hardware architecture, intended to provide the kind of reliability that the telecoms and banking industry usually demand.

- Power. Every time you log on to evolve, you’re calling on the power of all 80 servers to deliver your data and process your requests. The result, quite simply, is speed. There’s no waiting for ‘the server to free up’. You want results now. You’ve got them.
- Scalability. When we launched evolve™, we had just two customer and about 5000 documents. Now we have around 20 million. That gives you an idea of how evolve can scale up to meet demands. But more importantly, that scalability is unlimited. However many customers choose evolve™, they’ll all be guaranteed the same exceptional level of service delivery.
- Reliability. Using many machines working together guarantees much higher levels of system availability than our competitors. We offer a cast iron guarantee of 99.999% service uptime (that’s no more that 2 minutes per year offline). It’s the same standard demanded by international banks.

Multi-tenancy is a relatively new concept. FCP were one of the pioneers, along with Salesforce.com
In simple terms, it means that rather than having one, or at most two server per customer (so-called 'Single or Dual Tier' architecture), evolve™ runs on a cluster of around 80 servers working together in parallel to deliver the service to our customers.
This means that not only is it highly reliable (multiple servers can be taken offline and the system still functions), but as importantly, it offers capacity that means we can accommodate your needs both today and in the future, whatever you growth plans.
