The evolve™ network

Our high-availability multi-tenant architecture isn’t the only thing that makes evolve™ unique.

We also have some special arrangements when it comes to how we connect to the internet.

  • Autonomous Network. We are an ISP in our own right....that means we don't outsource out network or infrastructure to anyone else

 

  • Connectivity. With multiple Tier-1 providers including BT, Cogent, AboveNet and Packet Exchange among others, our Multi-homed network provides high capacity, high availability connectivity wherever you are are in the world.

 

  • Multiple Datacentre Locations. Data replication between sites provides high availability and offsite archiving of critical data.

 

We are the only SaaS provider to the recruitment sector that is an Internet Service Provider in its own right. We are full members of RIPE (the organisation that allocates and manages IP address space in Europe). Which means that we own and manage our own autonomous part of the internet. This guarantees connectivity service and speed in the same way multi-tenant does for our system architecture.

In non-technical terms, this means that rather than relying on a third party to provide our connection to the internet and network address range (as our competitors do), we remain independent - buying raw connectivity from Tier 1 providers and then routing and managing the traffic ourselves.

From a practical perspective, this means that we never have to rely on 1 supply (or route) for evolve to be available online. It also means that whomever you use as you ISP, there is more that one way that you can connect to us, guaranteeing the fastest route.
